Royal Skateboard Trucks History

Royal Skateboard Trucks was co-founded in 1997 by Rudy Johnson and Guy Mariano. The company’s headquarters is located in Torrance, California where they make skateboard trucks designed the way skaters would design them. Royal operates under the Girl Distribution label alongside Chocolate Skateboards, Girl Skateboards, Lakai Footwear, Fourstar Clothing, Ruby Republic, and Skate Mental. The company produces a full line of skateboard trucks, clothing, and accessories that fit all riding styles.

Royal Skateboard Trucks Construction Technology

Royal Skateboard Trucks has a variety of trucks that are suitable for any skateboarder’s truck preference and all experience levels.

• Royal 4 combines the responsive feel of a low truck and the performance of a high truck. The height provides the skater with quick pop while reducing wheelbite.
• Royal 5.25 provide the greatest overall height giving the skater maximum pop and responsiveness. 
• Royal Evolution is an all terrain truck that allows for quick turning and pop without the wheelbite.
• Royal Original is the first trucks design by Royal with the lowest in height. This is the perfect truck for technical street skating.
