iPhone Skateboard App Mike Vallely “Do or Die”

Yes, Mike Vallely has an iPhone game now! Don’t know if you can pick fights in this game, but the controls are supposedly unreal. The Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 game for the iPhone wasn’t necessarily the full skateboarding game which people were hoping for. Mike V’s game is the real deal with dope 3D graphics and a new insane finger swiping control system for doing tricks.  Check out the videos below.

Win 2 weeks at Skate/Surf Camp in Wilmington, NC!

Want to spend 2 weeks this summer surfing, skating, and learning from masters? Here’s your chance! Warehouse Skateboards and Surf Camp are offering one lucky skater the chance to travel to Wilmington, NC for an incredible surf and skate adventure.

In addition to airfare from anywhere in the continental United States to Wilmington, NC, the winner will receive a full tuition package for the 2-week program valued at $3295. This includes lodging in air conditioned suites on UNC-Wilmington’s beautiful campus, snacks, meals, 24-hour adult supervision, shuttle to and from Wilmington’s International Airport (ILM), equipment (surfboard rental, rashguard usage), daily transportation, a sweet Skate Camp t-shirt, activity fees, skate park admission fees, and your group photo. Warehouse will even set you up with a complete skateboard valued at up to $150 so you’ll be sporting a brand new ride. For more info about surf/skate camp visit www.wbsurfcamp.com.

During the program, you’ll spend your time at the beach and skate park learning from skilled surf and skate instructors. You’ll increase your skills on the waves and the ramps while learning new tricks. You’ll even get a chance to build your own board.
The program runs from June 13 – June 26, so if you want to win you’ve got to act fast!

You must be between the ages of 12 and 15 to enter and participate in Surf and Skate Camp.

Here’s How to Enter

Record a video telling us why you want to come to Surf & Skate Camp. You don’t have to skate, but if you want to show off your skills in your video, bring it on! If you’re not a skater yet, just tell us why you want to skate and why you think Surf & Skate Camp is the place for you to learn.

Submit your video to your favorite video uploading site (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) Then just submit the link to Warehouse Skateboards via this submission form. Our skater judges will choose the best video based on creativity, not skating skills, so don’t worry if you’re a beginner. Just be creative! Deadline is June 5, 2009 at Noon EST.

We’ll post our favorite videos on Warehouse Skateboards, so even if you’re not a winner you could be famous! Enter now!

TOMS + Element One for One skateboard

element toms skateboard1 TOMS + Element One for One skateboard

For every TOMS + Element skateboard purchased, Element gives a skateboard to a child outside of Durban, South Africa to provide refuge from the dangerous areas in which they live.

TOMS was created with a singular mission — to make life more comfortable. In addition to the TOMS + Element skateboard, they offer a line of shoes with the same concept. For every pair purchased, they donate a pair to a child in need. You buy a pair of TOMS shoes or a TOMS + Element skateboard, and a child receives one.

For more information on this project, visit Element One for One or TOMS shoes.
