Over 140 people have pre-registered for the 3- or 6-mile race, which takes place this Saturday morning. Registration fees are $20 for the 3-mile race and $25 for the 6-mile race. Visit the official Run for Ray blog for pre-registration instructions and directions to the park.

Race day registration will be available Saturday morning from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. The race begins at 9 a.m. Parking will be limited, so race coordinators are requesting that participants carpool.

element toms skateboard1 TOMS + Element One for One skateboard

For every TOMS + Element skateboard purchased, Element gives a skateboard to a child outside of Durban, South Africa to provide refuge from the dangerous areas in which they live.

TOMS was created with a singular mission — to make life more comfortable. In addition to the TOMS + Element skateboard, they offer a line of shoes with the same concept. For every pair purchased, they donate a pair to a child in need. You buy a pair of TOMS shoes or a TOMS + Element skateboard, and a child receives one.

For more information on this project, visit Element One for One or TOMS shoes.

All proceeds from the skateboard will go to Autism Speaks, a nonprofit dedicated to helping people living with autism and their families by raising awareness, fundraising, and searching for better ways to understand and treat autism.

The missing puzzle piece on the graphic represents the missing puzzle piece in our understanding of autism. Help fund the research that may find the answers by ordering your Real Gianni Pike Skateboard today.
