Almost Skateboards is a company that operates under Dwindle Distribution. Almost Skateboards was started in 2003 by pro skaters Rodney Mullen and Daewon Song.  Almost Skateboards are high quality skateboards made of epoxy resin. They have recently designed and integrated the new innovative impact support technology into their skateboards. Almost Impact was designed for the advanced skaters in mind so that they may their push skate tricks skills to the next level. The company has also seen impressive skateboard design success with their reinforced über light deck.  What will they come up with next?

Almost Skateboards Construction Technology

• Support Impact are special composite carbon fiber reinforced discs that are embodied into the skateboard deck that help provide impact resistance and dampening. This technology acts as a strong and supportive threshold for the typical break point of a skateboard deck that adds an impact displacement throughout the deck for a smoother and controlled ride during heavy landings.
• über light technology was created by Rodney Mullen, and C.L. Composites. It is a complete carbon fiber framework that is embedded within a 7-ply deck. The carbon fiber structure has a light, low density foam core that reduces overall weight substantially. The über light provides lateral stiffening for consistency and accuracy when attempting flip tricks. It minimizes flex along the rails and improves overall control. The embedded rebar-like feature provides for a much longer deck lifespan.
